Garden Sculpture
From 1980-1983 while I was a student at Wimbledon School of Art, I participated in three summer exhibitions at Cannizaro park, London. This introduced me to the possibility of making work for gardens. In 2007 I received Arts Council Wales funding to develop a body of work in response to waterlilies which led to a partnership with NBGW. Several loaned sculptures have been sited within the Garden.
I organised several sculpture exhibitions at NBGW including Barcode Sculpture for Sculpture Cymru: a Sci-art project, for which I organised a symposium, sculpture festival and sculpture trail.
I have exhibited in many gardens and outdoor venues including Margam Park, Denise Yapp Contemporary Art, Fresh Air Quenington, ArtParks Guernsey, the Red House Museum Garden, Christchurch and Chichester Festival.
